Magnetic internal gear pumps

SAXMAG V magnetic internal gear pumps are a type of positive displacement pump designed for handling high-viscosity fluids, chemicals, and hazardous liquids with maximum safety and efficiency. Unlike traditional gear pumps, they utilize a magnetic coupling instead of a mechanical shaft seal, eliminating the risk of leaks and ensuring zero emissions of hazardous substances.

These pumps are ideal for abrasive, corrosive, and temperature-sensitive liquids, making them widely used in industries such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and oil & gas. Their compact design, low maintenance requirements, and precise flow control make them an excellent choice for applications where safety, reliability, and efficiency are critical.

Varisco's magnetic internal gear pumps offer superior durability and resistance to harsh operating conditions, ensuring a long service life while maintaining a constant, pulse-free flow even under high pressures.

The operating principle of internal gear pump

Internal gear magnetic drive pumps are positive displacement rotary pumps that ensure leak-free operation. The flow is generated by two gears: the rotor and idler, one inside the other, separated by a crescent. As the gears rotate, liquid is drawn into the spaces created between the gears and the crescent. When the gears mesh, the liquid is forced out of the pump. This design provides a smooth, consistent flow and high capacity while maintaining a compact size, making it ideal for handling challenging fluids safely and efficiently.
